Julie Lear, e-RYT

The seeds of yoga were planted early, but it wasn’t until the birth of her son and the tragedy of 9/11 happened concurrently that Julie began a steady practice. Yoga helped calm and support a super-stressed body and mind and offered balance and peace in an unsteady world. Still true today, more than 20 years later.

Julie's classes are inspired by yoga philosophy, her passion for mind/body connection, and incorporate present-day modalities and mechanics. You'll experience a strong practice and mindful moving meditation that allows space for physical and mental exploration, discovery, and awareness from the inside out.

Julie received her 200 hr. training in vinyasa yoga with Tricia Philpott. Other trainings include Therapeutic Yoga w/ Arielle Schwartz, Yin Yoga w/ Bernie Clark, ParaYoga Nidra w/ Rod Stryker, Mindfulness w/ Jack Kornfield, and Tara Brach, and an Ashtanga yoga intensive. Julie completed a yearlong meditation training and is dedicated to the study and practice of Yoga and Buddhist philosophies.

Off the mat Julie is a clinical social worker practicing psychotherapy. She is also a trained life coach and former marketing consultant. Follow her  @essencelifecoach or www.learcoaching.com.
