“True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life” -Aadil Palkhivala

Jackie started practicing yoga eight years ago. After years of running marathons, her body desperately needed a change, and she was also seeking relief from her stressful job as a nurse. Initially drawn to yoga for the physical workout, she stayed for the mental, emotional and spiritual peace the practice has brought her.

With degrees in nursing and psychology, Jackie is extremely passionate about health and well-being. She is a firm believer that food is medicine, but also feels it is equally as important to nourish your mind and soul as well. As her yoga practice grew, she became increasingly aware of the mind, body, and spirit connection, and that the balance between the three is the key to optimal health.

Jackie completed a 200 hour teacher training with Tricia Philpott in 2019 to deepen her yoga practice. Her classes are a strong, power vinyasa flow to build strength and vitality in her students on and off the mat. Her intention is to share with her students what her yoga practice has done for her, which was improve her quality of life spiritually, emotionally and physically. She wants them to feel rejuvenated, yet calm and centered.
